"Budivelnyk" is the legendary basketball club. His name is extremely well known. "Budivelnyk" is the oldest and the greatest basketball club of the country, we can say it without exaggeration. Since 1945 It have managed to raise a couple of dozens of stars, to become the best in Ukraine more than ten times, to win several silver and bronze medal sets in the USSR, and to get the gold medal in 1989. Furthermore, during the period of independence "Budivelnyk" added a debut participation in the Euroleague to all its achievements on the domestic scene, it was the first chance in the history of Ukraine.
